Safemark
Systems Receives Top Marks
In Customer Satisfaction Ratings
ORLANDO (June
17, 2005)-- In an independent study of leading hotel franchisors
and hotel operators, Safemark Systems, a leading supplier of in-room
safes to top hotel chains and hospitality providers worldwide, has
ranked in the top 5% for overall customer satisfaction.
Safemark's average
rating for overall customer satisfaction is 4.7 out of 5.0. On service
and training, Safemark was rated a perfect 5.0. Customers also reported
being very satisfied with Safemark on product reliability, ease
of use, features, delivery and terms.
Headquartered
in Orlando, Safemark offers a wide variety of safes in various configurations
that are designed to meet the needs of travelers and businesses.
The study was
produced on a blind basis by Bassich & Associates, a management
consulting firm located in Silver Spring, MD. Bassich & Associates
maintains a customer satisfaction database that includes evaluations
on over 200 service industry companies.
John Foley,
Vice President of Safemark Systems says, “In considering that
the study revealed that 62% of hoteliers believe that safes should
last 11 years or more, I would urge potential buyers to carefully
evaluate the service delivery and overall product performance of
any company with which you're considering establishing this long-term
relationship. Safemark is the only company that stands by its product
by offering a five-year/five-thousand dollar warranty against theft
by forcible entry.”
Safemark offers
a variety of options for their clients. Depending on the size and
shape, the various models are designed to safely store such items
as laptops, palm pilots, video and digital cameras, purses, jewelry
and much more, “The safes come with a variety of locking systems,
including mechanical key access, digital access/motorized locking,
personal code entry and card swipe option (room key/credit card).
Safemark recently
was selected as a preferred vendor by Carlson Hospitality Worldwide.
The company will supply a variety of in-room safes to well-known
hotels companies under the Carlson umbrella, including Radisson
Hotels & Resorts, Country Inns & Suites, Park Inn and Regent
International Hotels.
“Safemark
Systems passed Carlson Hospitality's stringent review process to
be a preferred vendor,” said Sandy Olson, Manager, Contracting
& Vendor Relations Division, Carlson Hotels Worldwide. “Safemark
combines unsurpassed products with a wide range of financing options
and price points. Their extremely high level of customer service
makes them a company we want to be associated with for a long time.”
Other satisfied
Safemark customers include Rick Brown, Director of the Rooms Operations
for the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina. The hotel recently
selected the Millennium 5.0 metallic safe for installation at the
hotel because they are large enough to accommodate laptops, cameras
and other essentials for the business traveler as well as the leisure
guest.
In commenting
on the Marriott installation, Brown says guests appreciate and have
responded positively to the system and its ease of operation. "I
was very impressed with the quality of the product s well as the
level of service offered by the Safemark organization. With close
to 1400rooms, I was a little nervous with the installation logistics
but their expert installation crew handled it without a wrinkle
and addressed all of my questions. Based upon the success that we
have seen with this product, I highly recommend Safemark Systems.”
At the New York
Helmsley Hotel, Donna Soba, Rooms Division Manager, says, “We're
pleased to work with Safemark Systems for their competitive pricing
and customer service. The training program is excellent and the
safes are user-friendly for staff as well as for our guests. It's
a simple system that's very easy for the hotel to maintain.”
